The Fitting Process
The bicycle fitting process we pioneered and developed for the Serotta Institute of Professional Bike Fitting has now been complemented by cutting-edge technology from the idmatch system.
This new technology allows us to incorporate a three step body scan, 3D motion capture analysis, and saddle pressure mapping combined with over two decades of professional bike fitting experience.

Which fitting
is right for you?
Regardless of what bike you have, or whether you have a bike at all, our process remains the same. If you bring a bike, we can adjust or change components on it to achieve your optimal position within the limits of your existing frame.
The fit session is about you as a rider, not necessarily your current bike. We will find your ideal riding position for any discipline and either work with your current setup or advise on next steps for future bikes.

There is no mystery to bike fitting; our system uses common sense, proven biomechanical evaluation techniques, mechanical laws of physics and bio-feedback.

The idmatch Fit System uses state-of-the-art markerless motion capture software in conjunction with an AI component that learns from every fit session conducted worldwide using the idmatch system.
This complements your fitting experience, making it more personalized and accurate. Whether you're a competitive cyclist or a passionate enthusiast, we will ensure your position on the bike is optimized for comfort, efficiency, and performance.
Saddle discomfort is one of the most common reasons cyclists come to us for a fit. Using the idmatch pressure mapping system, we can analyse both static and dynamic load distribution across the saddle in real time.
This data allows us to identify the root cause of discomfort — whether positional or saddle-related — and make informed recommendations for both saddle choice and positioning. The result is genuine comfort that doesn't compromise your power or performance.
You will be provided with a comprehensive fit report of your bicycle's critical dimensions and coordinates. This information is very important and should be kept as a reference to be compared to other bikes.
If you are buying a stock bike from us, we start the whole process with a bike fitting. This allows us to determine which frame fits you best as well as the size and location of all your additional components.

If you choose to purchase a custom built bicycle we begin the process with a bike fitting. We then send all the details from your fit to your chosen frame builder so that your frame is built exactly to your measurements.
