PARLEE'S Z ZERO GT LAUNCH EVENING

This was a very exciting evening for us at Signature Cycles as we were honoured to host a product launch for the first time. It filled us with an immense sense of pride as Parlee released their new flagship bike: Z-Zero GT. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. We had representatives from Parlee, Campagnolo and Partington visit our store for an in-depth Q&A about their collaborative launch. Our clients were pleased to have had the opportunity to get a chance to ask the experts and interact with the new model. 

This new model is a complete upgrade from Parlee's original GT. The fork has been created from scratch so they can accommodate an internal wiring system, eliminating any external cables or hoses but also giving clearance for a wider tire. The rear part of the frame was also updated to clear a 40c tire along with it's ability to be used with the new UDH hanger. Almost every carbon layer on the frame was designed to be light to optimize ride quality. Internally, the frame has a new DNA that makes it wildly fun to ride and resulting in a tailored experience for each rider.

Parlee brought two models with them; the flagship Z-Zero GT, along with a special limited edition bike. To celebrate 25 years, Parlee wanted to put extra energy into their anniversary bike to recognise the GT model that put them on the map as one of the best carbon fibre frame manufacturers in the world. Here, they have not only created a bike that celebrates 25 years, but also the legacy of their late Founder Bob Parlee — one of the most influential bike designers in the world. This special edition was reflective of Bob's elegant style with 24karat gold decals carefully placed by the Parlee paint department, leather handlebars and saddle by Busyman and gold decal Partington wheels all the way from Australia. From the special edition paint job, to the new Campagnolo Super Record Edition to the Partington wheels, this bike is as perfect as it can be. 

The team at Parlee were kind enough to leave us their Z Zero GT model in a striking purple and green colorway so we could show our clients who couldn't attend the evening. If you get a chance, swing by to check it out! You will not be disappointed.

It was great to have the Parlee staff at our event to inform us about their new release. A special mention goes out to Isabelle Parlee, Bob's wife, who has been with the brand through it's high's and low's. It was a true honor and one for the books to have Isabelle speak and visit our store. 

As a proud owner of a Parlee bike myself (11 years strong), I get the hype and can say these bikes are worth every cent. Of course I rode my Parlee the next day at the Pas Normal Midsummer Challenge, a 125 mile ride with 9000ft of elevation, to show how great their bikes are. I can only imagine what the new Z Zero GT feels like to ride.
