This week, we are featuring Adam's BMC Teammachine SLR01.

When Adam reached out to us, he was looking for a very light bike to tackle some of the most epic mountain passes in Europe. He had models like the Specialized Aethos in mind, as well as other stock options designed for that type of riding.

We believe that the quality of a good climbing bike lies not just in its ability to ascend but also in how well it can descend. At 6'1" tall, Adam is accustomed to bikes that fit him but may not always perform to his full potential. We analyzed the design and technology that brought the new BMC SLR01 to the market, and it turned out to be the perfect fit for him. The fully integrated frame design, optimized for uphill performance, also provides the stability that makes riders like Julian Alaphilippe excel on descents.

The new graphics on the bike are fantastic, featuring a recessed material that adds a unique texture. Combined with the navy blue color, it gives the bike a classic and elegant aesthetic.
