Amir's Colnago C68 AllRoad

This week we're featuring Amir's Colnago C68 AllRoad.

Amir came to Signature for an endurance bike and had his sights set on a Colnago.  He is a local cyclist who has excellent taste in bicycles and knew that he wanted a lightweight but comfortable platform with which to build his dream bike.

After a comprehensive fit session, we found that the C68 AllRoad would be an ideal fit for Amir.  The bike is built with the latest generation of Sram Red, which is still the lightest 12 speed electronic road group on the market.  Amir chose to complete the build with a Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO 45 C23 wheelset, which is a perfect complement for an Italian bicycle.

The C68 proudly continues the tradition of the modular frame. The frame is constructed from several carbon parts that are hand-assembled in Italy through joints and interlocks. The number of parts that complete the frame, i.e. 8, is the same as the previous C series (C64).

The tradition of modular carbon frames began at Colnago in the early 1990s. Colnago was the first brand in cycling history to introduce carbon frames to professional teams, winning a technically demanding race like the Paris Roubaix with the legendary C40.

The modular construction techniques that Colnago uses allow them to tailor the ride quality of a bike and make it a pure joy to ride. This frame is prized for its smooth ride quality and stunning looks.
