Andrew's Passoni XXTi

Today’s BOTW feature belongs to Andrew with his stunning Passoni XXTi.

As an active rider from NYC, Andrew knew he wanted a quick, stiff and snappy bike that would feel fast whilst comfortable. His only other specification was that he wanted a beautiful bike that would be different from everyone else's.

The Passoni was a clear choice for us with its timelessly exposed titanium, mixed with carbon fibre. You can almost smell the craft from these bikes, as each one spends hours with Passoni’s highly skilled artisan fabricators in its Milan based atelier.

The XXTi frameset is a perfect balance between high-grade titanium construction and carbon fibre tubing. This carbon fibre however, infuses titanium into the carbon tubing creating a stronger, more unique type of carbon fibre. Some companies call this material ‘carbon-tanium’ and it not only performs incredibly, but looks amazing too.

Andrew’s XXTi was built with a high spec. From the new Shimano Dura Ace 9270 wireless groupset, to the new Lightweight Obermayer clincher wheels and CeramicSpeed OSPW, this bike is sure to turn heads (if you can keep up!). To round off this bike, we complemented the frame with lovely subtle touches such as a custom Selle Italia SLR brown saddle with matching brown Cinelli tape.
