Ben's FiftyOne Sika

This week we're featuring Ben's FiftyOne Sika.

Ben is a local that got into cycling in 2023 and has accomplished the Pan-Mass Challenge.  After training for and finishing the PMC, he was inspired to level up his cycling game and came to Signature for a fit session.  He was keen on a carbon bike that could do it all, so after considering several options he opted for the FiftyOne Sika for its versatility and low frame weight.

At an event we held for Ceramicspeed, Ben was the lucky winner of a custom painted OSPW.  We sent the OSPW to Ron Jones of Pro Bike Design and it came out beautifully.  Ron and Ben collaborated on the design and the color is a nod to what the future holds for the Sika.  The Ceramicspeed logo and feather design even match the color-shift style of the logo on the downtube.

The bike is built with a Shimano Ultegra group with 50/34 chainrings and an 11-34 cassette, which will give Ben excellent climbing ability and reliably smooth shifting.

When it came time to choose a wheelset, Ben went for the ENVE SES 3.4 carbon wheels for their excellent balance of aerodynamics and low weight.  At 1380g with an internal width of 25mm, this is an exceptionally versatile wheelset fit to conquer the climbs and descents that our area is known for.

We hope Ben crushes all his old records with his new dream bike.  Congratulations to Ben!
