Chris's Colnago C68

This week, we are featuring Chris's Colnago C68.

Chris is a lifelong athlete who currently represents the nutrition brand Maurten here in the US. His extensive experience in cycling, running, and leading a healthy lifestyle makes him a valuable presence in the sporting community.

When Chris visited our shop to present the Maurten product line, he took the opportunity to learn more about our bike fitting services. He became interested in reviewing his bike fit to ensure he was riding as optimally as possible.

In addition to this, Chris was in the market for a new bike. He was looking for something that would provide the best riding experience—not necessarily the lightest or most aerodynamic option but a bike that looked amazing, was timeless, and could withstand the test of time.

Among the few iconic brands available, Colnago stood out to us. Chris fell in love with the C68 model, especially the fact that it is made 100% in Cambiago, Italy. The lugged tube-on-tube construction would deliver the smooth and efficient ride he desired. We found the perfect match for him.

It was easy for us to connect Chris with Colnago America and get the project underway. After reviewing the fitting data, we confirmed all the necessary measurements to order not only the correct frame size but also the right stem length and handlebar width.

The Colnago C68 comes in four different colors, and Chris was particularly fond of the black with purple chromatic decals. It’s a stunning color that looks fantastic under the sun.

It's always a pleasure to see Chris at various industry events, smiling on his Italian bike. It truly has everything he was looking for!
