David's Bastion Road

This week we're featuring David's Bastion Road.

David has more than a few nice bikes, but this is his first fully modern, state of the art dream bike.  He came to Signature for a fit session and while he was visiting our studio he could not take his eyes off the Bastion bikes that we have on display.

For David, it was love at first sight.  The way that the carbon weave reacts to the light is truly something to behold, especially with a gloss finish.  David wanted to show off the raw materials, so he chose a gloss finish over raw carbon, hand polished 3D printed titanium lugs and gold logos.  it doesn't get much better than that, a superbike with a classic aesthetic.

The build is absolutely top tier, the Dura-Ace groupset is complemented by Ceramicspeed oversized pulley wheels and bottom bracket.  The Partington MKII 39/44 wheels are ultralight and very aerodynamic, they spin up quickly and hold speed just as well.  The 3D printed S-Works Romin is sure to keep David comfortable for long rides in the saddle.
