Ed's Apuna

For today’s BOTW, we have Ed’s Scarab Apuna.

Looking for a bike that would allow him to explore multi-road terrains, Ed was inspired by Abraham and Karen’s Scarab build.

The Apuna is a fantastic, versatile bike that’s been described as having ‘wild speed’.

“When the road meets the unknown, when we decide to deviate from the everyday, where the homogeneity of the pavement becomes brittle; right where the road turns into a path, the Apuna is born”.

Starting with the same paint scheme as Abraham and Karen’s, he designed a ‘NYC Night’ using electric blue to really pop off the black background. We love the special details such as the Colombian flag on the seatstay and Ed’s initials on the top tube.
