This week we feature Eric’s Aurora by No22. Eric is one of our New York City clients who was so happy with the custom bike we built for him, that he had to have another. Who says that dream bikes can’t be N+1 too! Eric’s previous custom bike is a Seven Axion SL that he commissioned way back in 2007, when Signature Cycles was based in the City, on the upper west side.

Technology in cycling moves quickly, so there was much to discuss with Eric in terms of available upgrades; disc brakes, wider tires, thru axle technology, and 12 speeds group sets for a start! Eric wanted to embrace all of those new technologies, but there was one thing he didn’t wanted to change. The frame materials.
With that important decision made, it was clear the No22 was going to satisfy Eric’s desires. The Aurora model by No22 has a carbon seat tube that not only reduces weight, improves vibration dampening but also looks so good!
The frame is handmade in upstate NY, using the very latest technology. Featuring a T47 bottom bracket, shaped and tapered tubes and an incredible 3D printed stem and cockpit. In partnership with Silca, No22 has embraced the integration of the 3D printed stem, dropouts and brake mounts. This doesn’t just look amazing, it improves the handling and the stability of the bike.
After looking at the various color options that No22 brings to the table with their anodization and cerakote blend, Eric opted for the polished and raw finish, a timeless look that will always be perfect and ageless.
The results are amazing, we are very happy for Eric and his new custom bike, an timeless beauty that provide him with joy for many more amazing miles.
