In this week’s Bike of the Week we’re proud to feature Hans’ Argonaut Supernaut RM3. Hans came to us thanks to advice from his dad, who has purchased a few custom bikes from us here at Signature Cycles for himself and his family.

Hans is a young but competitive athlete who loves to ride on the West Coast of the US. He was looking for a bike that could perform properly in all types of conditions. Located outside of San Francisco in the Bay area, climbing and descending are something that Hans really cares about. He wasn’t looking for a particular name on the down tube – what he really cared about was the quality of the ride, the manufacturing process and the people behind the product. Gravel wasn't much of a consideration for Hans either; the bike had to be light, clean and sleek.
Technically, everything the Supernaut RM3 is known for fills all the requirements on Hans' list. The mission statement from the Bend, Oregon brand confirms this beyond doubt. When Ben Farver started Argonaut in 2007, this was his dream: “To forever push the boundaries of what’s possible in carbon bike building. To design and build bikes that did everything better and created for their rider the perfect riding experience every ride.”
And the Supernaut RM3 is, according to Argonaut, “the manifestation of 15+ years of progressive road bike design… from the geometry, to the layup pattern, to the aesthetic and composition of the final build, it embodies our obsessive attention to detail and quality.”
Hans' fitting position worked perfectly with the RM3's stock geometry, which is the result of almost two decades of custom craftsmanship, and the decision was made.
Paired with the new Shimano Dura-Ace wireless components and the ENVE SES 4.5 Tour de France limited-edition wheels, this bike is ready to take on any road adventure. We must admit we love the way the ENVE wheels look with their decals that pay homage to Tadej Pogacar and his team-mates, telling the story of the 2024 Tour de France in doodles. Tadej rode the SES 4.5s in each of his road stage wins. Next to the stunning raw carbon of the Argonaut frame, they bring a unique style.
Congratulations Hans, this bike is an instant classic.
