This week we're featuring Jason's ENVE Fray.

Jason was referred to us by his friend, Andy, who is the proud owner of two amazing bikes from us.  Jason's previous bike was a Specialized Tarmac SL7 which did not meet his needs for a properly fitting bike.  After a thorough fit session, we found the ENVE Fray to be the best solution in terms of fit.

The Fray is an excellent do-it-all bike with generous clearance for 40mm tires and geometry that is both approachable and comfortable for long rides in the saddle.

This new colorway in GT Silver looks incredible and lends a timeless look to a sleek, aerodynamic all road machine.

The group Jason selected is the Ultegra 8100 group with sub-compact gearing to conquer the rolling hills in our area.  When it comes time to pick a high-end road bike group, it doesn't get much more sensible than Ultegra.  Dura-Ace may be a bit lighter, but Ultegra is best for ultimate reliability and wear life, especially where the chain/drivetrain is considered.

When it comes to aerodynamics, you couldn't opt for a much better choice than the Zipp 404 Firecrest wheels with a high-profile 58mm rim depth.  Zipp’s ABLC™ Sawtooth™ Technology uses an intricate dimpling pattern to improve aero efficiency, similar in concept to why a golf ball has dimples.  They also feature a 23mm internal width so they're perfect for a bike that is designed for 30-40mm tires.  At 1559 grams, they're also very lightweight for having a 58mm depth.

We wish Jason nothing but the best in his bike journey and hope he can join us for our weekly rides.  Congratulations Jason!
