In this week’s Bike of the Week we're featuring Jeff's FiftyOne Sika. This is Jeff's first bike with Signature – and what a way to kick things off! After a proper fit session, we found that there were a few good options in the world of stock geometry that would be appropriate for him in terms of fit, but there was only one that checked all the boxes.

We went with the Sika from FiftyOne, who are based in Dublin, Ireland. This bike is one of the most versatile out there. It’s designed with geometry derived from FiftyOne’s experience of building hundreds of custom bikes, shaped to be comfortable for all-day riding for the vast majority of riders without requiring an unsightly stack of spacers or ruining the bike’s elegant proportions. Its handling is precise, stable and planted, whether on a fast Alpine descent or broken back roads. To handle the latter even better, it has clearance for 40mm tyres and is ready for roads in any condition. With a 690g frame weight for the size medium – one of the lightest in class – it floats up any climb. Its tubing is aero optimized with NACA profiles and it features a fully integrated cockpit that’s designed in-house using the same NACA airfoil shapes.

The gloss finish on a raw carbon frame is not only an amazing look but it also helps to keep the weight low. Jeff’s bike as pictured weighs a very impressive 15.9lb. It also benefits from some top-drawer equipment of course: this no-compromise race machine is outfitted with a Shimao Dura-Ace Di2 12-speed group for lightning-fast shifting and a full complement of CeramicSpeed bottom bracket, CeramicSpeed OSPW derailleur pulley upgrade and a CeramicSpeed UFO chain for the ultimate combination of friction reduction.

Jeff opted for ENVE SES 4.5 wheels for their aerodynamic properties with differential rim profiles and they’re pretty light too, weighing sub-1,500 grams – and if they look familiar that’s because they also happen to be the wheels of choice of Tadej Pogacar, the best cyclist in the world.

Jeff’s FiftyOne is currently sporting Pirelli P Zero Race TLR 32mm tubeless tires that are not only fast rolling but they’ll also keep him comfortable on the rough roads and will provide enough traction for confidence in the corners. This bike is a mean machine that will glide over any surface with speed and style. Congratulations Jeff!
