John came to us in search of a new gravel bike, but wasn’t quite sure what to choose. After attending our ‘meet the maker’ event with Scarab Cycles, he was instantly sold by the Apuna with a custom ‘Chivas’ style paint job.
This beautiful bike is a true homage to Colombian culture. Chivas’ are small buses that serve as the main source of transport in rural villages. Each bus is given a name and uniquely hand painted with this unique pattern.
Just like the Chivas, each Apuna Frame is sent to the same artist who hand paints them all to create this art on wheels.
