This week we're proud to feature Mark's Seven Axiom XX
Mark has been coming to Signature since 2023 and this is his second titanium dream bike build. He's a local cyclist who's been hitting the pavement hard since we first met him and it shows.
Mark likes to travel to amazing cycling destinations and wanted a bike that he could take with him in order to avoid having to rent bikes during his travels. He wanted a lightweight bike that climbs like a feather and descends like a cannonball. For his criteria, a couplered Seven Axiom XX built with Seven's lightest triple-butted titanium tubing.
In order to maximize power transfer, we opted for a T47 bottom bracket standard and oversized 1" chainstays. This platform paired with an ultralight set of ENVE SES 2.3 carbon wheels is sure to excel on any ascent. The 46/33 crankset paired to a 10-36 cassette will give him all the right ratios for enjoying any hill, whether climbing or descending.
The group is all SRAM Force except for the shifters and calipers, which are SRAM RED. We opted for the RED shifters and calipers in order to keep the weight low and utilize the latest and greatest braking technology and shifter ergonomics.
The bike weighs in at 18.3lbs without pedals, which is quite light for an all metal bike with couplers.
We wish Mark all the best in his travels with this amazing and beautiful machine.
Congratulations Mark!
