MARUEEN'S 'NYC' APUNA

Today’s BOTW is Maureen’s Scarab Apuna with a ‘NYC’ theme custom paint job.

The inspiration for this paint project came from the NYC based artist Alex Klement, who was inspired by the complexity of city life amongst Manhattan’s streets. Straight lines overlay in a web-like pattern, wrapping the frame up and perfectly capturing the beautiful madness that New York often has.

The bike was a gift from Maureen's husband Ed, who wanted the bike to match his own (see Ed's Apuna here).

These bikes will follow them to their Florida home and they'll spend the winter riding under the sun. These beautiful handmade bikes from Colombia were the perfect choice for Ed & Maureen because of their simple elegance and classic steel feel.
