This week we're featuring Michael's Bastion Road.
Michael came to Signature looking for a high-end custom dream bike and after looking around the shop he couldn't keep his eyes off the Bastion road and gravel bikes that we have on display.
When we started the new bike conversation, it was clear that only top-tier manufacturers were to be considered. Which is always good to hear at Signature because we like to think we only work with the best in the business. After weighing the options carefully, it was clear that Bastion would be the producer of choice.
The 3D printed titanium lugs paired to oversized carbon tubes and beautiful pencil thin seat stays lend an unquestionably modern aesthetic with a distinctive nod to classic lines and lugged construction. Who wouldn't take a second look?
When it came to tailoring the build to Michael's preferences, we opted for the Sram Red groupset for ergonomics, best in class weight and excellent range of gear ratios. Princeton dual profile wheels strike a wonderful balance of weight and aerodynamics, making the wheelset a fitting choice for a high-end machine.
The gloss candy red paint over the carbon weave looks amazing in the sunlight and the polished lugs keep the bike classy. The 3D printed pulley wheels are also quite striking and are lighter than traditional pulley wheels.
Congratulations Michael!
