Mike's Colnago V5Rs

This week we're featuring Mike's Colnago V5Rs.

This is not Mike's first bike with Signature, he has an impressive stable of bikes but this time around, he wanted a pure-bred, cutting edge race machine designed to handle the rigors of professional competition.

Over the last several years, cycling has become a big part of his lifestyle and he's always looking for ways to improve his performance.  He's been training with a coach and taking the sport increasingly seriously, so he needed a bike that would translate all of his training efforts into real world speed.

Mike was inspired by the V5Rs' specs on paper and more importantly, its performance in the pro circuit.  After riding the bike, he was very impressed by its stiffness combined with its incredible lightness, especially for a very large frame.

Mike is also no stranger to Lightweight wheels.  He's had such great experiences with past models that he wanted to try the new state of the art offering from the lauded manufacturer.  We're happy to report that he's crushing the local climbs with his exciting new rig.
