This week we’ve got something really special for you. MOG means Mother of Gravel, Machine of Grit, Method of Gain… but it’s more than just an acronym. It’s a verb, even a state of mind. ENVE says there’s no road too long, no course too tough for those willing to MOG, so of course we had to go all the way with this bike, Simon’s first bike project with us at Signature Cycles.

MOG, take a BOW (that means Bike of the Week – see what we did there?).

ENVE is a premium American bike company with unparalleled expertise in carbon manufacturing that needs no introduction to anyone who knows Signature, and we’re really proud of our partnership with them. ENVE makes some of the most beautiful, understated, and race-worthy bikes in the world and they’re in a category of their own in the cycling industry.

The MOG is a super versatile, incredibly capable bike that’s strong, lightweight and laps up adventure, racing and everything in between. It has clearance for tires up to 50mm, 36 cubic inches of storage in the down tube, rack mounts on the fork for bikepacking getaways, integrated cable routing and performance geometry that’s designed for speed, confidence and optimal handling on all terrains.

ENVE says each piece of carbon-fibre in the MOG is placed to perform a specific role, which is the foundation of the brand’s material optimized design philosophy.

As an experienced rider, Simon was looking for the ultimate gravel bike, one that would make him feel fast in the rough stuff, propel him quickly over the flats and be very stable flying downhill, even on mixed surfaces. The ENVE MOG is all that and more.

ENVE is proudly based in Ogden, Utah, and Simon wanted to keep with the American theme throughout the bike. He opted for light but tough ENVE AG25 wheels, for which the MOG frame is specifically tuned, a SRAM Force AXS groupset with CeramicSpeed OSPW X rear derailleur upgrade and S-Works Pathfinder tires.

This beautiful setup does justice to the core principles of ENVE, a brand that wants to build the best possible bikes for their owners, that will be ridden for a lifetime. They may be stunning pieces of engineering, but they’re just as durable, and aren’t meant to live their lives as wall art.

We couldn’t have been more excited to deliver this bike to Simon and we know he's been training to get out there on the roads, and off the roads, on his dream gravel bike.

Congratulations Simon!
