This week, we are proud to feature Tony’s new Argonaut GR3.

At Signature Cycles, nothing brings us more pride than a returning client trusting us with another dream build. Tony previously purchased an Open UPPER from us several years ago. While its clearance for 45mm tires was revolutionary at the time, that has since become the standard for modern gravel riding. For his next project, Tony sought a bike with even more efficiency and racier handling.

As carbon technology and customization continue to evolve, we considered several options. Ultimately, only the Argonaut GR3 met all of Tony's requirements: a handmade, American-made carbon frame capable of fitting wide tires while performing with the agility of a road bike.

Handmade in Bend, Oregon, by a team obsessed with performance, every Argonaut frame is constructed using a tube-to-tube process. This allowed us to perfect the geometry based on Tony’s specific fit data while fine-tuning the bike's handling characteristics.

Tony’s bike features a unique "factory finish." The frame emerges so clean from the mold that it requires almost no manipulation before painting, resulting in an incredibly light finish with a distinct texture. If you see Tony at a gravel event, ask him if you can see the frame in person; it is truly remarkable.

To prioritize weight and performance, we equipped the build with a SRAM RED XPLR AXS groupset and a lightweight carbon wheelset from Argonaut. This setup provides tight gear ratios with a range wide enough for any gravel climb.

We couldn't be happier for Tony. It is a privilege to connect such an incredible American manufacturer with a rider who appreciates handmade quality.

Congratulations, Tony!
