This week we are proud to showcase Vadim's Passoni Cicloprato.

Vadim is a loyal friend to us and this is Vadim's 4th custom bike with Signature and his Second Passoni.  He came to us over a decade looking for the perfect bike that will help him achieve his cycling dreams. Since then, Vadims has achieved some of the most enduring Randonneuring events in the world.

His first Passoni was the right introduction to the capabilities and benefits a custom bike, he used it over 12 years but this year, Vadim wanted to update the bike, and after improving posture and biodynamics that allowed him to perform better on the bike, we needed to review the position and recreate his custom bike.

The geometry of this new bike is very similar to the one used for his custom Parlee Road bike, however, it is optimized for wider tire clearance and taller fork. Inspired on Ruedi's very own Cicloprato, Vadim wanted a lighter bike with hand polished joinery, something that sets apart Passoni from other titanium manufacturers.  He wanted to showcase the skill of the Atelier in Italy.

The polished lugs were not something that Passoni offered on the Cicliprato model, but after working with us on this type of projects, it is now available as an extension of their services.  To complement the titanium build, Vadim wanted to go with a Titanium crank and inspired by Abraham's Mosaic, he opted for the Sturdy titanium cranks with the 3D printed chainrings.  Vadim has lightweights on his custom Parlee and loved the performance but also the durability of the wheels, so we opted for the all-road version called the Pfadfinders for this project.
