As is often the case with our clients, Zach was very open to which brand his new build should be. Simply, our brief was to help restore his love for cycling with a new summer bike. The only constraints we had were to source something exclusive and niche that felt special on the road. Since Zach greatly appreciates the craftsmanship and beauty of hand made products, with a riding style best described as fast and aggressive, we felt the Super Leggera was the perfect match. Having reviewed our portfolio, Zach was instantly in love with the idea of a Bastion.

Good things come to those who wait and that’s certainly true with a Bastion. These special bikes take around a year to build – every part of the frame is custom built to the specifications of the rider, including a bespoke 3D printed cockpit. This labor intensive process means that Bastion limit their production run, so we count ourselves fortunate to be one of a small handful of dealers in the US working with them. After 13 patient months, Zach has his dream made-to-measure bike with every detail perfected.

The 3D printed lugs have a high polished finish alongside a unique green tinted finish on the carbon tubes. There’s a beautiful glow of color that only shines at the right angle and Zach’s initials (ZSS) are etched on the rear drop outs.

We couldn’t be happier with the results and for Zach to have a bike that will inspire him to ride. This is one of those projects that we cherish and makes us who we are; “we create the pathway to our clients cycling dreams”.
