BILL'S SEVEN 622 XX

This week we are featuring Bill’s Seven 622 XX.

Bill came out to us directly from Brooklyn, as he was interested in building his first custom bike and thought it would be beneficial to seek out professional guidance. After considering various manufacturers, Bill was attracted to and landed on the Seven Cycles brand. A union worker himself and someone with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and work done by hand, there was something about Seven’s build process that spoke to Bill.

The 622 XX is the culmination of more than two decades of bike building experience and a sculptural masterpiece, blending titanium and carbon fiber together. The carbon fiber makes it light and stiff, whilst the titanium gives it a lively ride quality and durability that belies its aesthetic appeal.

The end-product is innovative and race ready, but at home on any group or solo ride. The titanium lugs and chainstays mean that a good deal of vibration that typically reaches the rider, doesn’t. What this results in, is a smooth, sturdy, and all-round beautiful riding experience.

Riding a bike means a lot to Bill. It’s his way to stay in shape, explore and calm his mind after a long week at work. Now he can do it all and more with his fabulous new machine.

This project became truly memorable when Bill decided to paint the bike using the American flag as inspiration. The superhero blue is one of his favorite colors and combined with the white decals and red accents, looks fantastic.
