EVE'S SEVEN EVERGREEN PRO

This week’s bike of the week is a razor-sharp Seven Evergreen Pro, built for Eve.

A dedicated club rider who loves nothing more than dropping her friends on local climbs, Eve was looking for a responsive and lightweight bike for tearing up her local rides. She was also looking for an American made bike, something that we fortunately have a diverse selection of at Signature.

After lengthy consultations and discussions with Eve about her aims and needs for the bike, it was clear that the comfort and agility of Seven Cycle’s Evergreen Pro frame would be ideal for Eve. Working with materials to a standard only matched by few manufacturers in the world, Seven Cycles are masters of titanium, combining it here with carbon tubes, resulting in fantastic ride quality, capable of absorbing a wide range of road vibration frequencies.

This refined frame is equipped with a Ceramic Speed bottom bracket, housed inside a T47 BB shell, paired with oversized tubing on the rear triangle for minimal resistance, explosive acceleration and efficient power transfer for flying up and down the hills. Keeping the bike light wherever possible, we finished the bike with mainly carbon and titanium components, Darimo carbon handlebars, a Zipp carbon stem, and of course a 3D printed titanium Silca computer mount.

Whilst this configuration is optimized for road use, the Evergreen is equally comfortable across all surfaces (the clue is in the name), with a fork that provides a good range of options for rim and tire combinations, capable of clearing 650Bx38 or even 700Cx28 tires. This is reinforced with an ENVE G27 wheelset, a light and tubeless optimized carbon wheel that’s just as at home on paved roads as it is far off road on rough gravel grades.

At the core of this build is a deep appreciation for manufacturing and materials. The raw, unfinished carbon and titanium pay respects to the materials themselves, presented simply and honestly, with no distraction from the craftsmanship of the frame. At Signature, it makes us proud to support a local, American manufacturer; especially when the bikes they produce are as impeccable as these.

We’re excited for Eve to take this all American build around her local roads and climbs this fall. The Evergreen Pro is a stunning bike, and one that will serve her well for many years to come.
