The Masterpiece Collection bikes are unique, built to order carbon frame bikes from the famous Swiss bike manufacturer, BMC. Unlike other mass market bikes, these special frames are a rare culmination of individualization and technical innovation. Since these qualities are in Signature Cycles’ DNA, we are particularly excited to present this uncommon range of bikes.

We recently held an event in store to launch the frame, which a great chance for everyone to hear from Swiss frame builder, BMC. So, just what is so special about the Timemachine SLR01 Mpc?

BMC’s Masterpiece bikes are limited edition and hand-made by the world's best carbon fibre artisans, with no expense spared. BMC’s Teammachine road bikes have long brought exceptional ride quality to World Tour athletes and amateurs alike. The Masterpiece version takes that pedigree to a whole new level. Visually stunning with sleek, clean lines and dramatic exposed carbon, this bike looks fast when not even moving!

Not all carbon is made equal, you would be mistaken for thinking that every carbon frame shares the same DNA. BMC have used their ACE+ Technology software to calculate what they call "the perfect balance" of metrics and materials. A process that begins with lamination of carbon fibre sheets directly into BMC’s proprietary mould, before being baked at a precise temperature and pressure. The ultimate in science and craft.

The result is a frame that BMC are confident has a stiffness-to-weight ratio that can precisely transmit the rider's power onto the road and generate sharp acceleration and excellent handling.

Available in limited numbers, the frameset includes frame, fork, seat post and cockpit.
