JOEY'S 3D PRINTED NO22 AURORA

This week we showcase Joey’s No22 Aurora.

Joey is a long-time client and friend of Signature Cycles. He first came to us in the late 2000’s, when we had our Manhattan location on the Upper West Side. Since then, he has gradually created a mouth-watering collection of bikes, like his latest Seven Evergreen XX with the Porter top tube, Parlee TTiR and Passoni Disco, which featured one of the most memorable paint jobs we’ve ever delivered.

Joey is the type of client that knows what he wants, but also likes to discuss ideas and be curious when it comes to options for each project. He has strong beliefs on the manufacturer process and as a visionary himself, has a lot of experience that validates his opinions. We love working with people like Joey, we learn so much every time he appears with a new vision in mind.

In this case, Joey wanted to test the new No22 Aurora with its 3D printed cockpit. There is something exceptional about the titanium engineering that No22 make possible. Joey wanted something that would provide him a different experience compared to his other titanium frames and the Aurora emphatically checks that box. Lightweight, stiff under power and fast but comfortable in any situation, this is a bike without compromise.

It is safe to say that Joey was one of the first individual in the US to receive the Aurora with the 3D printed cockpit. We know that because we worked extremely hard with No22 to make this project a reality.

The results are fantastic and an innovative representation of where this industries technology is. To top things off, Joey selected the Rose Gold face anodization that included the stem, seat post cages and even the Silca frame pump! It is truly stunning on the eye.

Along with the Shimano Dura Ace 12 speed group, this bike is one of those that makes you dream and makes us very proud of what we do.
