ZACH'S COLNAGO C68

This week we are featuring Zach's new Colnago C68.

This beautiful Colnago is the latest addition to Zach's bike arsenal. Zach first came to us for a bike fitting, then with the ambition to reignite his passion for cycling. We didn’t know then quite how much he would reconnect to the sport and the process of creating custom bikes. Tailored for the individual in every way from fit, to purpose to styling, a custom bike is the ultimate for any avid cyclist.

Zach’s first custom bike with us was a beautiful one-of-a-kind Bastion Superleggera, a stunning race machine with classic stylings. Next up it was time to go off-road and explore some dirt, which led to a handmade Scarab from Colombia. This pair of custom bikes is already quite the collection, but Zach came to us with a brief for a bike he could race hard, that wasn’t made in Taiwan. The answer to us was clear — the best stock bikes, handmade in Italy by Colnago, the classic C68.

Made entirely in Italy, this amazing bike looks incredible and provides a solid yet comfortable ride, thanks to its lug construction. You can count on one hand the number of ‘race ready’ stock bikes and this is one of them.

The build features the Colnago integrated cockpit along with the new Shimano Dura Ace R9270 12 speed groupset. A Ceramic Speed upgrade kit including bottom bracket, pulleys and chain really make this bike race ready!

The finishing touches often give that final push to perfection, we sourced a handmade saddle from Portugal by GELU components, appropriately emblazoned with the Italian Tricolor. This saddle is not only the lightest saddle in the world, but super comfortable.
